This coming Thursday, March 3rd, we'll be performing a new big band arrangement at Zinc Bar. It's an arragement that I did of a very famous song that you have all heard but I'm not giving away the surprise!...all I will say is that it's in english and that it's a beautiful tune.

It's been a while since I'm so fascinated by an artist and their music. I'm refering to Jorge Drexler and his latest album "Amar La Trama". The lyrics, the original sound, the honesty, the horn arrangements, the recording, the mix, the subtleties and nuances...everything is so perfectly orginal and beautiful. It is the kind of artist that might not impress you at the beginning and then the more you listen to it the better it gets, the more you learn and the more you admire him. I want to share with you the trailer to one of the most espectacular movies I have ever seen and certantly the one with the most beautiful cinematopraphy in my opinion.
