Finding 15 musicians for a last minute gig

We have a last minute gig next Tuesday for a private event and I'm going crazy! Most of the band is out of town so I'm trying to make this work with new musicians. Fortunately enough there are always great musicians in the city who want to play new music but man is this labour of love! I already found 13 of them....2 more to go.

We are playing in SOB's in July!

Remember how a few weeks ago I posted a video outside of SOB's saying how exited I was because I had just ran into the person who does the booking? Well its official: Gregorio Uribe Big Band is playing at SOB's on July 25th!!!
It makes you feel like everything can happen with a little perseverence, right?

I'll keep you posted with more info about other shows before that as well. The next one is on Saturday May 29th at Fat Cat (Greenwhich Village).

Playing SOLO tonight - East Village

I'll be playing solo tonight at Le Caire Lounge in the East Village. This place has a really nice and intimate atmosphere, so come by have a glass a wine and listen to some mellow latin american tunes. NO COVER!
